Several key measures and restrictions, including social distancing and the mandatory wearing of face masks, have been revealed to be put in place when Disneyland Paris reopens.
The resort is yet to announce when it plans to reopen to guests, though French government has permitted Disney to do so anytime after 22nd June. With the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic still active however and world attention centred around the spread of the disease, key health and safety measures will be necessary to ensure DLP can welcome guests once more.
Le Parisien has obtained documents relating to some practices and implementations Disneyland Paris are expected to put into place when the resort reopens their gates. It should be noted however, while this is likely accurate, it is a draft document meaning information can be added or modified if required.
The most major changes that will come from the offset is that both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park will open to a decreased capacity size. This will be set in place to ensure that appropriate social distancing can be practiced for guests and Cast Members alike throughout the resort.
Face masks will be required to be worn while within Disneyland Paris property for all guests above the ages of 9 or 11. The document states that the decision has not yet been made on what lower age bracket the rule will apply to.
