Disneyland Paris have announced health and safety measure to be introduced in the parks following the re-opening from July 15th 2020. The measures have been announced as:
Limited attendance
- An advance date reservation system has been created to limit park capacity, no ticket sales on the gate.
Physical distancing measures
- Distancing measures will be in place across the parks.
- There will be no single rider or fastpass queues open.
- Ride carriages will be adapted to distance visitors.
- No Disney traditional character meet and greets
- No kids playgrounds
- No makeover experiences
- Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel characters will be roaming the park for photo opportunities
- Extra magic time still applies for guest staying at Disney hotels
- Some shows or events will not be available or may be modified, theatre seating will be modified
- Restaurant seating capacity will be reduced
- New take-away food offering introduced
- Buffet restaurants change to all-you-can-eat table service offering
- In hotels & resorts, elevators are limited to 1 family at a time
- Accelerated hotel check-in procedure
- Hotel room service adapted for additional distancing
Protective measures
- Face masks required to be worn by all guests over 11 years old except when eating
- More than 2000 hand sanitising stations in place across the parks, particularly at entrances and exits
- Increase in cleaning frequency by park staff
- Expanded health and safety training for all park staff
- Prior to entry, visitors will be asked to participate in health screening
